Simbang Gabi (literally translated as “evening mass”) is a Filipino devotional tradition of celebrating Mass for nine consecutive days before Christmas. These Masses express the love of the people for God through his Mother, Mary, as we gather in prayerful anticipation of the Christmas miracle. Parishes celebrate Simbang Gabi on different nights during the nine days, Simbang Gabi is a wonderful opportunity to help us prepare for & wait in anticipation of the birth of Jesus Christ. This helps us focus on the spiritual meaning of the season. Simbang Gabi transcends cultural boundaries & is a unifying time in the parish. Reception to follow in the Parish Center
