Parish CenterThe monthly gathering for June will be this Tuesday, June 13th at 7pm in the parish center and will focus on Mary’s “yes” to the culture of life and will feature local speaker Theresa Deisher, Ph.D. scientist and stem cell expert. Dr. Deisher is the President of Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute, a cutting edge biomedical research organization. Dr. Deisher’s career has focused on discovering and developing new therapies for grievous human illness. Dr. Deisher obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Physiology from Stanford University and has spent over 20 years in commercial biotechnology. SCPI’s mission is to end human trafficking in biomedical research. Come early and enjoy some refreshments.

World-famous International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima comes to our Parish
The statue will visit our parish on Sunday, July 19th! Read below for more information regarding this incredible opportunity! The world-famous International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, traveling around the world since 1947, will begin an historic two-year journey across America, visiting more than 100 dioceses in 50 states. The Fatima Centennial U.S. Tour for Peace, March 2016 – December 2017, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of the Angel of Peace (1916) and the Blessed Mother (1917) at Fatima, Portugal. The tour, sponsored by the World Apostolate of Fatima, USA (The Blue Army), will launch from the National Blue Army Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, in the Diocese of Metuchen, NJ, March 20-21, 2016, to coincide with the start of the centenary celebrations at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Portugal where Pope Francis is expected to visit in May, 2017. The statue will travel to parishes, schools, military chapels, and other venues along the tour, with programming to include Masses, confession, talks on Fatima, Holy Hours of Adoration, rosaries and private veneration. Our Lady of Fatima appeared to three children, Lucia dos Santos (age 10), and Francisco (age 9) and Jacinta Marto (age 7), on the 13th day of the months of May – October, 1917, exhorting them to be fervent in working for the salvation of souls and conversion of sinners through prayer, especially the daily Rosary, and daily penance in reparation for sins. She identified the conversion of sinners as key to peace in the world.
